The WebAwards are produced annually by the Web Marketing Association. Both the website and blog were judged on seven criteria:
- Design innovation
- Content
- Technology
- Interactivity
- Copywriting
- Ease of use
QSR’s Website & Blog
Our website traffic year over year paints a vivid picture of just how well our content is reaching our core audience, with overall site traffic impressively growing by 156% and organic traffic growing by 134%. Since launching the blog, we’ve published 118 articles (119 including this one!) and have seen a 193% increase in organic blog traffic since the New Year. All these metrics aren’t nearly as impressive as the increase we have seen in new users to our site – up by 157% year over year. That’s a ton of new, engaged users that are interacting with our brand by learning from our content and discovering our products! The Team’s Thoughts
I’m so proud of our work and our team. I don’t want you to hear only my thoughts on the awards though. Here’s what each team member had to say about the awards and what it means to them:
“It’s a great reflection of all the hard work the team has put into the strategy, writing, content, and design of the website and blog. It’s also very humbling and exciting to be recognized by those in the industry and to be a part of such a short list.” – Bob Mattingly, Senior Creative Designer
“Simply put, it feels good to create something that matters to our audience. It’s also been fun to see how unique skill sets can come together and improve the brand experience.” – Garrett Bonistalli, Content and Digital Marketing Manager
“It means a lot for QSR Automations to be recognized for our website and blog at the WebAwards. As a company, we pride ourselves in developing the best technology that shapes and transforms the restaurant industry. It is only natural that our website and blog reflects the innovate work we are doing every day. This award is the proof in the pudding, as they say.” – Chrisea Chosta, Public Relations and Communications Manager
“It means a lot to have our site and blog analyzed and recognized. There’s so much that goes into our strategy, from the content, to the design. There are so many individual decisions made in a team that help make up the final product that don’t always get highlighted. We put a lot of work into this and we’re excited to make it even better!” – Dylan Chadwick, Content Specialist
“It’s hard to believe that just a year and a half ago we launched our site and blog. I can’t believe how far we’ve come. It’s an absolute honor to be a part of this team and to receive the Standard of Excellence WebAward. I definitely work with the most talented group of people ever!” – Emily Elder, Content Specialist
